It is an investment company that uses capital from associates, small and medium-sized savers, who usually have a clear understanding of the financial activity of the real estate sector in the USA and investments elsewhere in Latin America.<\/p>

To be classified as a private fund, a fund must meet one of the exemptions under the Investment Company Act of 1940. Exemptions 3C1 or 3C7 of the Act are often used to establish a fund as a Private Investment Fund. Maintaining the status of a PIF has an advantage as the regulatory and legal requirements are much lower than for a listed fund.<\/p>

The primary purpose of a Private Investment Fund is to achieve the expected return for all its associated members in the medium to long term by ensuring the balance of its investments and the asset-liability-equity equation.<\/strong><\/p>

Although its private nature simplifies and exempts it from compliance with some legal requirements, its development entails a high level of responsibility towards its members, a permanent vigilance of the number of members so that the legal limit of 100 members is not exceeded, and careful management of cash flow.<\/p>
